Abstract 

The notion «socio-cultural competence» is defined in the article, the structural model of an intending primary school teacher’s socio-cultural competence is given, the components and structural units of socio-cultural competence are considered; pedagogical conditions of forming an intending primary school teacher’s socio-cultural competence are formulated.
