The presented study is dedicated to the removal of the lacune in the spatial planning of territorial communities, i.e. land consolidation. Today, there are preconditions for the improvement of the spatial characteristics of land plots by land consolidation. However, measures on land consolidation are not envisaged by the spatial planning. The goal of the study is to substantiate the automatization of land consolidation within the framework of spatial planning. A land consolidation model within the framework of spatial planning in Ukraine was presented. The automatization of land consolidation based on the linear programming methods with minimizing the distances between land plots and increasing the area of land plots of a landownership is suggested. The modeling is carried out using the combination of optimization and heuristic approaches in GIS environment. The practical improvement of the optimization of a project agricultural land mass in Petrivska Territorial Community, Kyiv Region, was presented. Two land readjustment options were suggested. As the result of land consolidation by the presented method, strip farming was removed, the configuration of land plots was improved, and distances from agricultural land plots to the homestead were reduced.
