Abstract

The paper is devoted to exploring the concept and benefits of prudential banking supervision. It’s revealed that the more demanding policy of the National Bank of Ukraine has helped the banking sector to recover. It’s also proved that the stress testing, as a prudential banking tool, helps banks respond in time to possible negative trends.
