Abstract
The article discusses the problem of organizational learning as a way of managing complex environment. As an empirical context for the study of the environment of emerging markets was assumed. In the sample of the studied enterprises, in context of single and double-loop learning, three distinct patterns of adjustment of the organization and the environment were identified, ie. avoidance, adaptation, and integration. In the complex environment, on the bases of the results of research, balancing of learning in single and double-loop learning seems to be key strategic competence of the enterprise
