Abstract
The main factors influencing financial stability of the banking system of Ukraine are determined. Much attention is paid to investigation of capital base as a major factor that has a great influence on the banking system`s financial stability in Ukraine. Recent government regulations of capital base requirements adopted in Ukrainian practice are described.
