Abstract

The issues of land plots exchange at land consolidation within agricultural land masses have been scrutinized. The goal of the study is the optimization of land plots exchange through the implementation of GIS technology. The modeling is based on the selection of land plots, which differ by no more than 10% of the lesser of land plots values. The inaccuracy of peerness determination by the existing approaches has been substantiated. The model has been approbated on an agricultural land mass in Poltava Region, Ukraine. The results can be used for the substantiation of the optimal land plots exchange options based on the heuristic, or optimizational method and their combination.
