The article has been devoted to problems of pension reform in Ukraine. The sequence of implementation of pension reform in Ukraine has been described. Potential threats of pension reform have been analyzed. The detailed descriptions of threats of pension reform have been represented. The novelty of research is solutions which help to overcome threats based on corrupt practices in the management of assets of private pension funds.
