This study highlights the potential of geoinformation mapping using remote sensing (RS) data to create interactive thematic cartographic models for forest cover in Ukraine on WWW platform. The research explores the attributes of forest cover as a mapping indicator. The integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing data is shown to be effective for inventory and assessment in forestry, promoting sustainable forest management and resource use. The research identifies key data types, including spectral index images and global digital forest maps, leading to the development of a user-friendly application for analysing forest cover conditions. This application employs Sentinel-2 satellite data and operates on Google Earth Engine, providing public access through. One suggestion to improve the paper could be to include a section that discusses the potential limitations or challenges encountered during the geoinformation modelling process using remote sensing data on Google Earth Engine.
