The secondary use of brewing grain to obtain food additives, fertilizers or biofuel involves drying it. The paper substantiates the advantages of filtration drying for dewatering high-moisture dispersed thermolabile material. The secondary use of brewing grain to obtain food additives, fertilizers or biofuel involves drying it. The paper substantiates the advantages of filtration drying for dewatering high-moisture dispersed thermolabile material. The coefficients of the Darcy-Weisbach equation were obtained. The results of numerical modeling of the hydraulic resistance of a layer of dried beer grains depending on the fictitious speed of the drying agent and the height of the material layer are presented. A comparison of calculated and experimental data was made, which indicates the adequacy of the proposed calculation algorithm.
I believe that the work was performed at a high scientific level.
