Abstract

Geoinformation technologies and remote sensing data are most often used for effective management of the wastewater system. This article describes the method of updating the cartographic basis of the storm system and the formation of the infrastructure of geospatial data about the objects of this system. The list of layers of vector data of the stormwater system is determined according to the map "Complex of engineering and technical activities to protect the city territory from flooding". The attributive data of the objects must be determined according to the approved structures of the geodatabases used to fill the cadastres and the National Geospatial Data Infrastructure. This information must also be interoperable. The opportunities for the construction of cartographic basis of the wastewater system are identified identification of problem areas, increase accuracy by increasing the maps scale, making GIS networks using GIS Nerwork Analist tools, add terrain model and other.
