Abstract 

This work is dedicated questions of assessment of the ecological state of water resources of Lviv city solid waste landfill. The general characteristic of solid waste management in Ukraine and other countries was examined. Ecological and geographical characteristics of Lviv city solid waste landfill were conducted. The determination of elemental composition in samples of water resources was done at Lviv city solid waste landfill and surrounding areas. According to results of the research work the assessment of the ecological state of water resources of Lviv city solid waste landfill was done
