This study aims to analyze the recent geodynamic processes and crustal movements in the Ukrainian Carpathians using high-precision GNSS data. The research focuses on evaluating horizontal velocities of GNSS stations of GeoTerrace and SystemNet networks. Daily RINEX files processed using double-difference methods in Bernese GNSS software. By integrating GNSS velocity fields with geological profiles and regional tectonic maps, the study investigates deformation zones, fault activity, and the deep structural features of the region. The results reveal heterogeneous crustal movements characterized by zones of compression and extension aligned with known fault structures, indicating ongoing active deformation. Despite limitations related to network density and regional coverage, the velocity data provide valuable insights into the current tectonic regime and the deep structural evolution of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The findings contribute to a better understanding of regional geodynamics, laying a foundation for future modeling and seismic risk assessment. The research also highlights potential directions for extending the analysis, such as correlating recent GNSS movements with geological data over longer timescales along well-studied cross-sections and faults.
