Abstract

This work is dedicated to developing an algorithm that enables the accurate determination of the coordinates of detected enemy groups, their movements, locations of fire means, defensive structures, and enemy combat equipment. A significant aspect of this work is the reconnaissance of terrain, particularly changes in combat zones, and the timely updating of topographic maps and other graphic documents of the area. Additionally, the work covers monitoring the actions of own troops, controlling the results of target engagement by aviation, checking the quality of camouflage of own units, determining target coordinates, detecting obstacles, and finding ways to bypass them. The proposed algorithm includes the automation of aerial photography and processing of reconnaissance information (decoding), as well as the automation of the process of determining object coordinates from aerial images, even in conditions where the enemy employs electronic warfare means (GPS spoofing). An assessment of the accuracy of coordinate referencing of images is also conducted, which is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness of military operations in modern conditions.
