Abstract

Planning of territorial objects development and natural resources management in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, as well as in whole Ukraine, is built on the sectoral approach without due consideration of laws, rules and principles of nature use, as a result of emergence and development of ecological risks. An assessment of anthropogenic changes in landscapes in the basins of the main rivers of Ivano-Frankivsk Region is given. ArcGis and Mapinfo Professional software products, as well as Google satellite images and electronic vector layers of a topographic map of Ivano-Frankivsk Region at a scale of 1:100,000 were used to identify river basins, assess anthropogenic changes and create cartographic material. Modern management systems have not prevented the degradation of landscapes and the development of negative processes (water erosion, pollution of environmental components and depletion of resources). Therefore, it is necessary to transition to a system of integrated management of territorial objects and natural resources, built on the principles of balanced (harmonized with nature) nature use.
