Abstract

With the development of satellite SAR interferometry, it became possible to remotely obtain information about deformations of the Earth's surface. Differential Interferometry Synthetic Aperture Radar DInSAR can be used to determine the area displacement of the area of interest on a space image pixel by pixel. The construction of deformation maps is possible relative to a stable initial image, or sequentially for each pair of images. A comparison of such diagrams showed the identity of the uplift-subsidence zones of the upper layers of the soil, but the time series diagrams for a certain period may differ. This work presents the results of calculating the displacement of a single pixel and outlines the factors affecting the value of deformations.
