Remarks and suggestions to the authors of the article

The article describes an innovative approach to studying changes in biodiversity in the sand massif "Oleshkivsky Pisky" using StoryMaps from ESRI. The authors use an algorithm for creating StoryMaps and describe in detail the entire process of creating a cartographic work.

The authors use suitable satellite images of the research area from Landsat 4-5 TM L1, Landsat 4-5 TM L2, Sentinel-2 L2A with sufficient resolution from the freeresource EO Browser and oher spaial data and combine it in the StoryMap.

The developed StoryMap represents the result of the conducted research and provides a unique opportunity to combine different resources in an intuitive environment. Cartographic models serve as integrators of information, which is then distributed in the network environment as a single complex. The innovation of this approach lies in the ability to combine data from different sources into a coherent information system that allows a deeper analysis and visualization of biodiversity changes in the studied area.

Future research aims to create maps for other areas, which will undoubtedly complement the results obtained and provide a more comprehensive understanding of theuse of StoryMap technology.
