Abstract

The most effective method of research is geoinformation modeling, namely the construction of digital models of the terrain. Modeling of the nature reserve fund of the arboretum of the State Biotechnology University using GIS is a necessary and effective tool for preserving and optimizing natural resources, developing a management strategy and making informed decisions about the balanced use of the territory, taking into account its ecological, aesthetic and recreational functions.

The construction of a digital model of the relief of the dendrological park is aimed at identifying and analyzing key elements of the natural environment, determining their state and dynamics taking into account anthropogenic influence, as well as forecasting the further development of the ecosystem. The use of GIS allows taking into account a large amount of geospatial data and provides their analysis in a complex, which makes it possible to obtain comprehensive and objective information for management decisions.
