Abstract

Russia's war with Ukraine shows how much our agricultural production affects the food security not only of Europe but of the whole world. At the same time, the unused potential of drainage systems in Ukraine can become a key to the intensification of agriculture there. Modern realities of the war in Ukraine demand new approaches not only to the post-war restoration of drainage systems but also to the use of drained lands in both the war and post-war periods. Therefore, for the intensification of agricultural production in the conditions of war by means of restoration hydro-technical reclamation, it is necessary to increase the efficiency of the use of drained lands through the use of modern water regulation technologies, the improved parameters of which take into account the peculiarities of climatic changes and changes in the structure of agricultural production on drained lands
