Monitoring of land under shelterbelts is an important task for conservation of forest resources and ensuring their sustainable use. Geodetic monitoring of shelterbelts, together with the use of GIS technologies, is an important element of conservation and protection of forest ecosystems. Forests play an important role in preserving biodiversity, providing quality water and air, and have significant economic potential. However, they are also under threat, especially in areas of industrial or civilian development (Khainus et al., 2022). In our study, we consider methods and tools for geodetic monitoring of shelterbelts using GIS technologies that allow us to monitor their condition and respond to any changes in a timely manner.
