Short Biography
Dr. Viktor M. Chekhnii is the Head of the Landscape Science Department of the Institute of Geography of NAS of Ukraine (since 2006). His research interests lie in the area of Landscape Science and Landscape Ecology. Dr. Chekhniiʼs main scientific works focus on modern landscapes, issues connected with landscape dynamics, landscape sustainability, landscape planning and protection. An important place in his research is occupied by the methods of remote sensing and GIS analysis.
