The implementation of wind energy projects requires consideration of several critical factors, including the wind potential of the area, the possibility of connecting to the Unified Energy System of Ukraine, and environmental constraints. This paper examines the feasibility of wind energy projects in Ukraine, using the Strilky territorial community in the Sambir district of Lviv region as a case study. The community possesses significant wind potential; however, numerous environmental constraints make the implementation of wind energy projects virtually impossible. All operational restrictions must be comprehensively identified before proceeding with further steps in wind energy project design.
